When COVID-19 shut down campus life at FIT, some students, against all odds, flourished. We asked some of these “students in the time of corona'' how they’ve adapted to the pandemic.
The past nine months have left us completely destabilized, but we are certain about one thing: There hasn’t been a year like 2020 for generations. Do we need to list all the reasons? After all, you lived through it too.
And yet, despite everything, FIT students carried on. No, they did more than that. They forged ahead. They developed new ways to do old things. They started original ventures. Against the odds, some of them thrived.
In this feature we selected six students, and asked each to discuss their unconventional projects. In a dark time, they give us a bit of optimism, and we think they’re remarkable. We hope you will, too.
